Nu we op wereldreis zijn, probeer ik natuurlijk zo veel mogelijk ‘live’ te bloggen en jullie van onze avonturen op de hoogte te houden. Het lijkt me echter ook een leuk idee om elke maand een soort recap van de afgelopen 4 weken te geven. Over momenten die me vooral zijn bij gebleven, wat me is opgevallen, wat me heeft verrast en wat ik misschien wel vreselijk vond. Aangezien we vandaag zo’n beetje een maandje op pad zijn, trap ik vandaag dus af met wereldreis recap #1!
De eerste keer dat ik capibara’s zag in de Pantanal. Die had ik nog nooit gezien! Wat een superleuke grote cavia’s zijn dat!
’s Avonds een biertje drinken in de wijk Lapa in Rio de Janeiro en je beseffen dat je in RIO DE JANEIRO bent. Toch een beetje de stad der steden of zo.
In Paraty verse vis scoren bij een visboertje, die we zelf op de barbecue hebben geroosterd en die nog lekker smaakte ook. Topavondje!
In Uruguay zaten we lichtelijk vast in Salto en ineens was daar Ana met haar man. Zij reden toch naar Montevideo en konden ons wel een stuk mee nemen. Bleek dat hun zoon ook nog eens in Nederland woont! We hadden een supergezellig ritje en waren heel blij met hun hulp.
4 heerlijke nachten in Bonito. Binnenkort volgt daar nog een artikeltje over, maar in Bonito heb ik echt het gevoel van vakantie gehad. We zaten in een fijne accommodatie, het was lekker weer, zwembadje er bij en we besloten heerlijk 4 nachtjes te blijven. Fijn!
In een vliegtuigje over de Pantanal vliegen. Het was maar kort, maar ow my; wat was dat gaaf zeg!
36 uur lang in bussen zitten, op verlaten busstations hangen en weer te horen krijgen dat de bus toch niet rijdt. Dat gebeurde toen we vanuit Brazilië via Argentinië naar Uruguay wilden reizen en daar een wat afgelegen route wilden gaan volgen. Zucht.
Ons bezoek aan de favela’s in Rio. Niet zo zeer iets wat tegenviel, helemaal niet zelfs, maar ik vond het wel erg indrukwekkend op een schokkende manier. Het verschil tussen extreem rijk en ontzettend arm is in Rio zo goed zichtbaar…
De jaguar hebben we helaas niet gespot in de Pantanal. Hoewel er zo veel meer te zien en te doen is dan dat alleen, hadden we daar natuurlijk wel erg op gehoopt. Helaas. Komt hopelijk nog.
Ik kan nog wel even door gaan met allerlei leuke momentjes vooral, maar het is de bedoeling dat het een recap blijft natuurlijk. We zitten nu in Uruguay, waar we de komende 1.5 week nog wel blijven. Ik vind het tot nu toe helemaal leuk en weer heel anders, maar daarover later meer! Wat zijn reismomenten die jou het meeste zijn bij gebleven tot nu toe?

28 oktober 2015 om 13:59Lijkt me heel bijzonder om in zo'n klein vliegtuigje te zitten ! En vooral Pantanal lijkt me me schitterend ! Mijn mooiste reismomenten ? Ik denk die week varen bij de Galapagoseilanden, het bezoek aan de pygmeeen in Kameroen en de safari's in Zuid-Afrika ! Veel plezier in Uruguay !
